International search in higher education and arts and culture
As a ‘boutique’ search company Vanderkruijs is a trusted partner in the Netherlands to boards and senior management in Education, Health, Arts and Culture, Building Companies, Public Sector and Social Enterprises. There are few companies worldwide that deal exclusively with executive search in these sectors. In the higher education market we see the increasing demand for international search capabilities. It is for this reason that in 2011 Vanderkruijs started setting up a global alliance of specialised focused executive search firms to provide a formalised network of like-minded companies with the goal of strengthening our individual businesses in multiple ways.
In complex global searches we work with our partner firms around the world in the identification, validation, local approach and assessment of potential candidates for senior positions in other territories. Minerva Search
Minerva was set up in 2013 by Ben Tucker and Kerry Shepherd, who previously ran the Education and Social Enterprise practice at Heidrick and Struggles in London. They have a combined 25 years experience of advising on senior level appointments, including Vice-Chancellor appointments for the Universities of Oxford, Lancaster, and Goldsmiths College London. The firm has recently moved into offices in central London and regularly conducts global searches, with recent placements to UK roles including candidates from Australia, South Africa and Canada. All searches benefit from the active engagement of partners, and research is not delegated to junior researchers.
